I went through the list of banquet that is listed on the website
and rate it accordingly to mine preference and the reviews.
1) Location
2) Decoration
3) Review on Food
4)Actual Feel of the Ballroom - Pillar-less, Projectors, Design
And i shortlisted 3 to 4 venue to view =x
But b4 that, i actually *cut cut cut* on why the venue wont be suitable!
1) Sentosa Hotels - Location not central, my ROM already in Sentosa thus i understand very ma fan for the guest to travel in and out=x
2) Food - Review for the hotel was totally bad!
We did consider MBS since that where babyy proposed but after seeing the mixed review, i don think i have the guts to go thru it! complain is more than compliments =(
3) Decoration - Very limited as my tables not alot and due to this fact, the ballroom often is small and limited deco provided!
4) Minimum of table - i don have that many tables if not i would want to have my wedding in Tung Lok Classics (Orchard Parade), its pretty!
5) Feel - just don look right in picture =x
3) Review on Food: Quite good and potion is big
4) Actual Feel of the Ballroom - The ballroom shape is not really fantastic in my sense, some friend might feel leave out if seated on the back, they might have hard time seeing the stage too=(

***So we chop chop confirm with our parents and went to sign the contract asap especially with the fact, our 1st choice date given by master was fully booked *horrors*
i didn't know it would be FULLY BOOKED to think that i already book one year advance liao =(
And with this, 5K for deposit flew away liao =*(

1) Location: pretty nice place and it look like suitable for *上海滩* theme

2) Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre
1) Location: Good, its pretty near somerset mrt, 6 min walk to reach the hotel
2) Decoration; Crystal theme features complete with Swarovski crystals lamp and color lighting won my heart over! but very sad that for the number of table that i have, the decoration somehow wasn't the same as the big ballroom! its not the same as stated in the picture i saw=(
3) Review on Food: So-so only, mixed review!
4) Actual Feel of the Ballroom - Its still pillar-less but some view is being block as mine is not the big ballroom =(

The coordinator, Fern is really understanding as she also just got married! She bring me around to see the suite and yes, she is also very flexible regarding the table clothes, ribbons, table centerpiece all that and best part is the theme can be what i want=)
But the ballroom that i'm given, spoil everything thus i didnt go for it=(

ii like her really alot and she is prompt in replying emails, patient, flexible and yes, just super nice!
But i didn't go for it as the deco is not what i want =(

1) Location: Good, right next to somerset mrt, around 3 minutes walk to reach. Ballroom has direct lift from Mandarin Gallery and estimate to have 6 lift if im not wrong so i guess my guest wont have to wait so long =)

the foyer is perfect ...just like how ii already can imagine myself mingle
with guest there, the ballroom is exactly what i want, even without any decoration at all, it give me the feel that im looking for =) classy and yet simple elegant!
And yes, its pillar-less, all guest will have view of the stage and best of all, the unique layout =)

3) Review on Food:Quite good! Cant wait for our food tasting on either August or September so that we can use it to celebrate babyy or mine bird-day haha=)
4) Actual Feel of the Ballroom - What more can i say, even the chair in foyer also look so royal, i'm already won over by it!

But babyy say as long as is i like and want this ballroom w/o any regrets, he okie with it
(in fact, he very happy cos he no longer need to walk around to acc me see anymore ballroom!)
He told me someone told him that: "不要反对除非真的真的做不到，如果可以，就给她最好的，她要的，因为是一生一次。她把一生都给你了，这是你唯一,一次能让她在朋友，亲戚面前当一天的公主！Its her show, her day"
